The Bible is true as far as it is correctly translated. The problems that arise in understanding what God's word is come with interpretation. Because of the zeal of the Nicene Council to point the gospel in a particular direction some of the scripture remaining truer than some other.

Moses didn't say that all the laws he made up where from God. Maybe they were not. Besides, it's a history, among other things, and history can be as much a lesson of what not to do. I always looked up questions and answered almost all of them, so I don't have a problem with it. I doubt it's only 2% true.

Because the authority of the bible hangs on divine inspiration.

While there is genuine "give" or quibble room over concepts of inspiration and inerrancy and interpretation, for a divine book "a little bit flawed" is equivalent to "a little bit pregnant": there is no "little bit".

The various partial inspirations, inspiration on spiritual matters alone, the scripture "becoming the word of god" to the Spirit-filled reader...
All the alternate doctrines...
all have proven problematic, to put it mildly.

This appears to be the line you are taking.
But if Paul was only partially inspired, the reader must be inspired at least to the level of Paul to see which passages are or are not.
But rather, there is no agreement on this amongst those who claim both the inspiration and the understanding.
